I have never forgotten the ornithopters used by the dark empire of Grandbretan, the flying mechanical machines that achieve flight by beating their wings like some bird or insect.

The 3rd Elric volume will be available on the 16th of December: Elric: Volume 3: The White Wolf (Hardcover)Authors: Julien Blondel, and Jean-Luc Cano Artists: Robin Recht, and Julien Telo Published by: Titan Comics A stunning comic adaptation of the classic Elric of Melniboné novels by Michael Moorcock! A year has passed since Elric left Imrryr, his palace and his throne, leaving behind a heartbroken Cymoril. For a year he has walked the Young Kingdoms, under the distant gaze of his protector, Arioch. Today he is no longer Elric de Melnibone, the four hundred and twenty-eighth Emperor of the people of R’lin K’ren A’a. Today, the Young Kingdoms know him as the White Wolf.
There's also a deluxe edition of the first volume released in a couple of weeks on the 20th of November: Michael Moorcock's Elric: Volume 1: The Ruby Throne (Special Edition Hardcover)Author: Julien Blondel Artist: Didier Poli Published by: Titan Comics A stunning deluxe special edition comic adaptation of the classic Elric of Melniboné novels by Michael Moorcock, featuring additional artwork! James Cawthorn collaborated with Moorcock--in ways both artistic and literary--for over 30yrs. He came up with the plot for Kings in Darkness, for instance. Moorcock considered Cawthorn's renditions of Elric and Hawkmoon to be definitive. Cawthorn died in 2008. dmrbooks.com/test-blog/2018/12/2/jim-cawthorn-ten-years-gone

It was a last-minute thing. I thought I was pretty up on Cawthorn. Turns out, after more digging, he was a really fascinating guy. Would've loved to've shared a pint with 'im (moreso than Moorcock, TBH).

I wish they were working on an Elric movie, hate taking the chance and giving the time and commitment to all these new series. A great age to be living in if you are a couch potato though

By the time this comes out he'll be accused of ripping off the Witcher But this could work...Elric is an anti-Conan so maybe mainstream will respond better as a result.
