It is almost as if it is the 'Disney-fied' cartoon Conan that some foolish fans feared might happen.

Yeah, 'cause those Disney types were such booze-hounds! At least there's the other covers for those without a sense of humor.

I don't understand what purpose Titan is searching by publishing Disney covers like this. It does not please the Conan fans in general and sends a wrong message for those who have never read any Conan or who may get interested in the character. It is funny but in general I see it just as a waste of time. I would never ever by a Conan variant cover like this one.

It's just 1 of 3 covers, the other 2 dramatic. No one is making you buy it. I won't be. But it is funny. And if the cartoony cover didn't sell, then they wouldn't be doing them. So someone is enjoying them. So just support what you like & ignore what you don't. Different people have different tastes.

I think a 90s Disney Conan might have been cool. Not now though.
A 1940-41 Disney or Fleischer Conan could’ve been amazing.

Yep, and Pace is awesome, as I stated elsewhere, and Ploog is reminiscent of early Frazetta. The other cover is from an artist that Zub has been championing for for a while.

Fleischer. Yes! Wow. His Superman is some amazing stuff for the time; such detail.

There is drinking in Disney films. And I find it humorous — certainly a lot better than the "Little Golden Book" attempt, or the earlier cartoony one. Conan's actual Little Golden Book is rather interesting (and a bit surprising they made it, I thought it was made by a fan when I first heard of it).
And I generally agree that these corny covers do not work for Conan.

Would’ve worked better than Mr Bug Goes To Town! And overall I’m not a fan of the goofy covers either.

For some reason this brings me back to Asterix the Gaul. When I was a kid we had tons of the books in my school library. Maybe get ready for the adventures of Conan the Cimmerian by Goscinny and Uderzo.
