This was really good. Looking forward to the other series.

Got this digitally last night and...pretty clear why Disney wasn’t going to release THIS version 😁. Boy I bet Wood’s head would explode to see them presented this way...you know, accurately.

Glad they didn't censor the art. But I prefer the square word balloons from the original.

Bought one off the Bay...but the cover I like most was more than I was prepared to pay for a single issue. My fault for sleeping on the job.

I managed to pick up all 5 covers.
At last something closer to the real Conan. I like that the dialogue is a little different from the original yarn, it made some interesting reading. I'm not a fan of Pierre Alary's art but I know we've got some great art coming up in some of the other adaptations.
Can't wait for the next issue.

I read that these are being marketed as uncensored but actually do have censoring...just thought I'd mention it.

Yeah it's good that they took some artist liberties with the writing. I've never really liked straight up word for word adaptions as they can feel kind of pointless and boring. Timothy Truman did a swell job with Hour Of The Dragon; altering just enough to make it feel fresh and exciting, but not to the point were it felt unfaithful in any capacity. Pierre Alary's art initially made me lose all interest in this comic; but, his art has grown on me a little. And overall, I greatly enjoyed this first part of Queen Of The Black Coast. I hope this out sells Marvel's stuff!

The typo on the last page of the prose story really made me laugh.

The typo on the last page of the prose story really made me laugh. Is this the one? It was but the ghost of a city on which they looked when they cleared a jutting jungle-clad point and swung in toward the in-curving shore. Weeds and rank river grass grew between the stones of broken piers anal shattered paves that had once been streets and spacious plazas and broad courts... Unfortunately, too many typos for my liking. C'mon Ablaze sort it out.
