What about Buck Rogers in the 25th Century ?? That gave us futuristic cities, ruined cities, star ships and mutants. It was kind of post apocalyptic.

Filling my brain with every sort of dark medieval image and iconography kind of got me thinking about the rabbit apocalypse. Those fantasy table top war gamers from the 70's and 80's that faced humans against elves, trolls and goblins had it all wrong. Sure, rural people had folk tales about someone coming across elves in the forest, but in the urban centres no one cared about fairies. No, the real threat came from rabbits, that's what monks in monasteries and nobles in castles stressed about. Check this out. Medieval killer rabbits. It was actually very violent. So much of this in medieval manuscripts. Just a small sample for you here.

They gave hell to humans. Are we on the verge of a rabbit apocalypse in this age. A recent report about a plague of rabbits at Parliament House in Canberra, our seat of federal government in Aus. 'Shooters called in as rabbits plague Parliament House in surging numbers during wet weather' "We've got to be very careful about that … we have to keep on it." Rabbits have long plagued central Canberra, particularly near Lake Burley Griffin, but their populations have noticeably increased during the wet La Niña weather cycle. West Australian senator Matt O'Sullivan told the hearing he was shocked by their numbers when he was last in the national capital. "I rode around the lake and almost collected one on … Dairy Flat Road," he said. "They are certainly feasting on something because they're the biggest rabbits I've ever seen." The war is on. Forget about Planet of the Apes. This may be a prequel to Planet of the Rabbits.

"This may be a prequel to Planet of the Rabbits." How dreadfully appropriate.

The correct answer is Pamela Hensley.
She was off the chain in Matt Houston.

Well, I know one thing is for certain, people would rather talk about Erin Gray and Pamela Hensley than about a Rabbit Apocalypse

There are some, crazy fan theory, who believe that the Flintstones are set in a post apocalyptic future. Myself, I will always hold that the Flintstones are set in the prehistoric past, as intended, but here is something on the 'post Apocalyptic Flintstones' 'Here's Why 'The Flintstones' And 'The Jetsons' Are In The Same Post-Apocalyptic Future' www.throwbacks.com/flintstones-and-jetsons-theory/

Planet of the Monkeys 'Maharashtra: Angry monkeys exact revenge by killing 250 dogs after a puppy kills a baby monkey' 'A bizarre incident has come to pass in Maharashtra’s Beed, where a clan of revenge-driven monkeys killed 250 dogs by dropping them down from buildings and treetops. The unseen fury had its roots from an incident in which a pack of dogs mauled a baby monkey to death.' In Lavool, a village 10 kilometers away from Majalgaon not but one pup is left. The residents of the village lodged complaint against the menace of monkeys with forest department officials. The forest officials visited the place but were unable to catch a single monkey. According to the villagers, the monkeys are avenging the death of one of their own. They said the entire episode of monkeys killing dogs started after a pack of dogs killed an infant monkey. Following this incident, enraged primates launched a systematic attack against dogs, abducting them, taking them to abandoned buildings with considerable heights and dropping them from the top.' www.opindia.com/2021/12/angry-monkeys-take-revenge-by-killing-250-dogs-after-puppy-kills-baby-monkey/www.insider.com/india-monkeys-throw-250-dogs-off-buildings-revenge-report-says-2021-12I never knew that monkeys could be that intelligent and organised to orchestrate a mass killing event of that sort, if that is true.
