From younger days, of course 😅 Back in the 80's, but now, Sarah Douglas is old enough to be my mother, no disrespect intended, she is a beautiful and dignified woman. However Olivia d'Abo, too young in CtD, these days around 50, looks great, but I like mature women ( not old ). There was also Grace Jones, highest respect to her as an artist, although not my type. She nailed the part of Zula. How old was she in the movie??? I uh, always just assumed she was, you know...of age. Also, when I think of Grace Jones, I think of the movie "Vamp." For some reason, as a kid, that movie was on in front of me multiple times.

Btw, I dont think its disrespectful to say that a person enters the years. It awaits us all once. Yes... Sarah was an extraordinarily attractive woman in the 80's, and she is one respectable lady today. Same as Olivia, although she is much younger than Mrs. Douglas. In her twenties and thirties, she was a beauty (as she is today, regardless of age), which was rare to be seen 😍 I say, I was so in love as a boy watching her CtD. I regret somehow that she didn’t make a bigger career. I was a little more familiar with Sarah Douglas via the Superman films where she played the Kryptonian Ursa, also in the V miniseries, and Grace Jones in a 'View to a Kill', although she always stood out more for me for her distinct music videos.

Princess Jehnna looked like a teenager, I never cared for the 'unworldly young princess mixing it with adventurers' thing, they should have had a Valeria substitute for Conan.

I have grown to quite like the film. Realistically, my barbarian brother, the Destroyer started out as a step in the right direction. Even with a 5 time drafted script, it was one step away from Millius' Conan the Ubermench, and a steps closer to Howard's Conan. The end result is not the result of a bad story, which is comic book in its essence, but of the traditional meddling of studios and moronic producers that has buried many potentially good films to this day. And despite many flaws, I still tought of it as a dear movie from my childhood. What makes me somewhat happy is the possibility of an extended/ultimate version, because we know that a more serious story was filmed, and then reduced to what we got as the final version. That's why I support the fans' fight for the release of R rated cut on the 40th anniversary. Would definitely love to see that.

Are there any petitions online? Might be helpful if Arnie was in favor of it and he spoke out.

There is a group on social media, fb, ig, Twitter... There was a poll on Twitter recently, and a petition was announced. The target is the 40th anniversary in 2024.
