Impressive. I read a few days back that Netflix are currently looking to increase their roster of animated features. The witcher is getting an animated show to go with the live action one so it might happen with Conan. Animation also allows them to tell stories which might otherwise be too expensive with live action, like anything with large creatures of locations.

I don't know how I missed this, but wow, that's really awesome. I'd love to see a more atmospheric scene, like Conan sneaking through a wizard's lair at night, done with this style.

Malmberg posted about this on Twitter, even embedding the video, with positive messages — so the Powers That Be have taken note. I'll say it again: there should be a 'Savage Sword of Robert E. Howard' animated show where each episode focuses on one of his many creations. Heck, maybe even a boxing story or two! Brutal, bloody and adult-oriented. Specific, longer stories could be spread out over several episodes with cliffhangers and also have self-contained stories here and there. Piggy-backing off of Conan, this could bring more exposure to Solomon Kane, Kull, Bran Mak Morn and everything else. Great that Fred noticed, now get them in touch with Netflix and let's get going already!
