Going back to check on any updates about the upcoming Legend of Conan film, I found the above preview of an amazing, massive 1:4 sculpt of Arnold as King Conan (taken from the images in the 1982 film). It is licensed, which to my mind indicates the definitive nature of the plans for the new film.
I hope this is the correct thread in which to post this.
I would love to hear your comments. The commentator on Arnold Fans notes that the coloring is "off," and will hopefully be perfected - perhaps with a touch more gray in the hair and beard - before production. I wonder what the proposed price will be? Considering the size and detail, it may be out of my pricerange. :-(

Thanks Valeria. An awesome sculpt of that iconic image.
Looks like they're using lighting with a reddish glow, so it might be hard to judge the actual colours of the mini from this particular shot.

I really don't see how this can be seen as any indication that the Schwarzenegger King Conan movie will be made. It is clearly marked as a Conan the Barbarian collectible.

Because the image on which the sculpt is based is being used as part of the ballyhoo for the upcoming film. It's true that it appeared in the conclusion of the 1982 film (and perhaps in the Prologue as well, although I may be mis-remembering), and thus it is natural that the sculpt would be called a Conan the Barbarian collectible. In addition, I believe that the logo which appears in the base of the piece has been used (more or less, perhaps with minor variations) as the logo for each of the three films. But more significant in my view is that someone associated with the project other than Schwarzenegger (perhaps Chris Morgan, one of the scriptwriters) said that the new film will start off precisely where the 1982 film left off (ignoring the 1984 Conan the Destroyer and the 2011 Conan the Barbarian), and, again that image is the last thing one sees in the 1982 film. And, finally, that image of King Conan is being used to promote the new film; it appeared on the the Arnold Fans website as part of the initial announcement of the new film. But, while the basis for the new sculpt is the image taken from the 1982 film, the facial features reflect 2016 Arnold rather than 1982 Arnold. Quod erat demonstrandum! :-) Valeria Spirit
