Today I picked up Robert E. Howard: Starmont Readers Guide #35, a very small hardback by Cerasini. I read several pages on the way home on the train - it seems a little dated but a great read. I also picked up a some nice REH stuff, including The Blade Of Conan and The Spell Of Conan. Inside the front cover of 'Blade' is what appears to be a typed signed letter by de Camp, dated 6th July 1967. The letter appears to have been written just after Lancer published the first 4 Conan books. There is a lot of interesting information here. I've uploaded the scans of the letters as attachments. members will have to sign in to view full size. The De Camp heading of letter. The letter was sent to a Mr Rowe from the UK. I felt uneasy about uploading the address even if the letter is nearly 50 years old. Page 1 Page 2 I found this a tricky one to place - I hope this is the right place for this thread.

Pretty cool find! This topic is somewhat tricky to place, but since this isn't a review, it belongs on the "Literature" board. Thread moved.

Wow! Pretty cool find. Not a lost Howard work, but very interesting S&S historical correspondence just the same.
