The license is changing hands. Monolith will be making a new RPG as well as continue the board game.
Yup, got the email this morning since I get Modiphius newsletter. Well, pretty good setting stuff, lots of good art; I actually never played so cannot comment on mechanics. But I'm ready to see soemthing new. Personally if I was King of RPG's I'd look at something light and fast and mechanic light; Castles & Crusades as a nice light, intuitive D20 variant that opens up lots of pre-existing D20 options, or Savage Worlds. But since it's Monolith, I'm guessing (no inside info at all, absolutely pure speculation) that we'll be looking at a new, proprietary house system, not something tied into a tried-and-true existing game. I'll also predict they'll have some way that it ties into the Conan board game, beyond just using the tiles and minis... Time will tell I suppose. |

I have read that Monolith released a Batman RPG and a Mythic Battles Panthon RPG..are they good? or did you thing that their system could be re implemented ?

The Batman RPG had a kickstarter that closed in October; delivery is probably a ways off yet, so it's still forthcoming. But reading kickstarter page, it does say it's D20 based, specifically derived from French version called "Untold Tales Modern" (wonder if there's a "Untold Tales Fantasy" they'd use as a Conan chassis to build on?) See specifically: This was found at: I just find out that there is a 48 quickstar rule book, I have made a quick read and looks good but what it worries me is that the characters has toooo much HP and that the games looks to rely heavily on minuatures which could be really cool or really bad but that depends on each one and also am a really a noob DM. the-overlord.net/index.php?/files/file/184-quickstart-en-v1web/ |

Thanks Crom Modiphius has lost the Conan license. I hated--I mean HATED--the 2d20 System.
I welcome the return of the game to a decent game system, like d20.
I'm interested in what Monolith does with it.

When they mention the d20 system, I imagine they are speaking of the 5E version of it.

They also mention that is too early for the Conan TTRPG but they are planning to released a new Solomon Kane TTRPG which is being co-developed by the creator of "The Savage World of Solomon Kane" who was a Savage World game. |

Thanks Vonk. I'm not a huge gamer, but I didn't want to see the chance to get that PDF bundle come and go, especially at that price. I checked out a few of the pdfs and they look pretty damn good. |

Yeah, that mega digital bundle is fantastic value - basically the entire product line for the old price of just the core book.

Thanks for the heads up!
Have some friends that I may be playing this with. Regardless, I would like it for other reasons as well.
So, without me having to review everything and check manually (seems you might simply know?) — does the mega bundle include everything that is available individually, or are there items you would need to purchase separately?
Also, are there any stories included with these? I know with West End Star Wars, there are some pretty good ones that you cannot find anywhere else. D&D even has some.
