Hopefully I figured out how to post pictures correctly. If not I will go back to the drawing board. Here are pictures of my a-historical bastard sword with a little Irish and Scottish influence from John Lundemo of Longship Armoury. I have to get better pictures of this beauty. It seems to float in hand until it hits. Attachments:

That's a beauty! Lundemo is a boss. I owned a similar blade from Windlass Steelcrafts, but had to sell it to a friend. As you say, a quick, lethal weapon for its size.

Thank you Deuce!
I would love to see what everyone else has. Post them if you've got them. Swords, axes, daggers, knives, spears, maces. If it could have appeared in the hands of our favorite barbarian and you have one post it up for all to see!

I thought it was something like Akbitanian steel; essentially the Hyborian damascus steel

I thought it was something like Akbitanian steel; essentially the Hyborian damascus steel Painbrush came up with the name on the Old Forum. WHY he chose "Hyrkanian, I'm not sure. Aquilonian steel was said to be "unbreakable" in TGitB. Oh well, that's the subject of another thread.

Ok; it's confusing. I still get damascus steel vibes

Deuce is correct lordyam. I named it in honor of the late Painbrush who started the original all of those years ago. I do not think the name is as important as the content of the thread, so post them if you've got them. I will be posting pictures of my current collection over the next week or so as I get the pictures together from the various places that they are.

You have to click on the link to go the gallery. The settings on the board don't make links stand out, for whatever reason.

Figured it out. Nice looking collection you have there.
Sort of silly about the settings on the board though.

Here is the first sword that I bought way back when. The blade is by Angus "Gus" Trim, his model 1423 in those days and the cutlery work and scabbard were done by Christian Fletcher when the two were working together still. I have to do something for this sword besides the simple storage scabbard. I did get a Ranger belt from Christian later. Attachments:

Next up is my Albion Next Generation Vigil with a scabbard and belt by Brian from DBK Custom Sword Scabbards. One heck of a nice guy to work with and a true artist when it comes to this type of work.

My Del Tin 5143. 4 feet long, 3.75 lbs. A beautifully made, wonderfully balanced sword.
