I disagree. An animal is most dangerous when it's cornered and Kyrylo has nothing left to lose; I'm guessing Tarasalan is going to die in the final confrontation, and that Kyrylo might be more dangerous. Wait until the arc ends.

Now this was a great Conan comic. I enjoyed seeing the return of the Ghul that's chasing Conan, and the action scenes between Conan and the Horsemen were excellent. The return of the demon was also a nice tough, as was seeing Conan fight those dragon-like creatures.
I think the artwork in this issue was the best yet, and the plot matched it. Hell, I think this is the best issue of the Slayer yet. Really has me optimistic for what is to come.

That's a great point by Charles Rutledge in regards to horror and dark sorcery being present in Slayer. This kind of has my hopes up regarding the pastiche we get in between the adaptations if Bunn continues to write the character.
