I had no idea what I was getting into when I joined the Book Club of Vul Suttar.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I joined the Book Club of Vul Suttar. It's hard to say no to six grimoires for 99 cents.

"What do you know of Yothga and the Moon Woman? Yothga whose seeds rode the star winds and witnessed the birth and death of worlds, Yothga whose blossoms drink the souls of wise men."
As she spoke the Moon Woman made sinuous, arcane gestures--the vines writhed in imitation.
Behind me Conrad fumbled with his holster, but it was too late, already the tendrils had wrapped around his legs. He began to scream but I paid no attention, the Moon Woman had begun to sing in a language not of this earth.
