Zarano has a girlfriend! With no nipples..? She's still hot though. Well we dated for a while but it didn't work out---I found out she was just using me to get to Earth, and she planned to torture me and feed me to a gargantuan electric slug once she had her green card. I am not complaining or being extra picky. I am just making a cheeky observation about style. I have noticed before that most of your female art show breasts, but no nipples are depicted [not even a small dot ]. Your shapely females are nicely done and still quite alluring & sexy. Nipples on breasts can be very distracting. [ that is natural ] i just wondered if you do not want them to distract the viewer from the rest of your art on the picture? ---- And the fury in her eyes: she has a look that could kill a vampire? ==== just probing your weird shadow world where your creative process forms from all the slime and fog...??

Sometimes I add a nipple or two sometimes not, it just depends on whether or not I think it needs it at the time. Yasmeena always looked mad, even before Esau Cairn spurned her

She's manipulating and merging dreamworlds (there are personal dreamworlds and there are shared dreamworlds, sometimes they intersect one another naturally but a few skilled sorcerers and many entities can alter them )

Do you make these on paper first and then scan, or all with some program suitable for it? I'd love to draw, but it just never looks that great if I try to scan it from paper to virtual form. :/ And photoshopping, filing etc. feels like a lot of effort sometimes. Or maybe I am just lazy...yes, I am.

Or maybe I am just lazy...yes, I am. I draw them on paper with pencils, ink, and watercolor then scan to make prints, I always scan before I do any of the weathering and staining on the paper though to make sure the lines are clear. If you set your scanner up at 300 dpi you can get a good copy, depending on your scanner or setting you may need to tweak the contrast a bit to make it match the original. I can do a few things in photoshop but I'm not that good at it so I mainly stick to pen and paper for my original work, I have tried drawing in software with a pressure tablet but I can't seem to get the hang of it. Here some "work in progress" type of photos, my pencil roughs for an unplanned drawing like the Dream Witch are really messy but my process is to start making shapes lightly with a pencil until an idea comes to me from them, then I draw it roughly in pencil and then ink over it and erase the pencils.

Sounds like draw first + scan + enhance is the way to go. Thanks for the reply!

How about a little witchery Hey, that was a really tricky problem, figuring out the shadows cast by the spheres onto a spherical surface. I congratulate you, first of all, on the courage to even try.
