Jim and Ruth Keegan were some of the first people I met when I attended Howard Days in Cross Plains back in 2006. Just great people and crazy talented. Anyway, I thought I'd start this thread to talk about the Keegans, their art and everything they've done for REH over the years. Also, why the hell hasn't DHC put out a Two-Gun Bob collection? They have to have enough strips. Here's the link to their blog: twogunblog.blogspot.com/

There have been times where I enjoyed the strip in he back of the Dark Horse Howard books more than the featured material in the fornt pages. Reading the strip in each issue is always a treat.

I can't understand why Dark Horse are taking so long to publish a nice hardback collection of these fine strips. What are they waiting for? Thanks for the link Deuce.

Back in 2004, the Keegans put out a limited edition -- 3000 copies -- pin-up "calendar" of REH characters illustrated by them and other top artists with cool info and photos on the back side of each plate. Pretty damned cool and I consider myself lucky to have one. Double lucky since it survived the Flood of 2012 because it was hanging high up on a wall! howardworks.com/IllustratedWorldofREH.htmlThe Keegans painted the "El Borak" plate. Sweet.

This looks familiar, but where did it appear? Judging from the style, it has to be from one of the two Del Rey "Best Ofs", but I can't find it.
