The Forum seems to have reduced the size of its font to a point where it is almost impossible to read. Or is this a glitch in my own computer? No other application or website on my PC has reduced its font size.

No other application or website on my PC has reduced its font size. the basic site font seems ok to me. >> look in your browser settings /options menu -- page display size -- you should be able to increase / decrease the size of text on any webpage. [ i often use it when reading tales online ] ==== > with chrome browser = keys = control and + [ = bigger ] control and - [ = smaller ] |

I can't seem to access the last page (page 19) on the 'warriors of the steppe' thread. When I try this comes up: Uhhh...
We're really sorry about this, but due to an angry bear server issues we could not load this forum. Our technicians are aware of this problem and hope to have the Err Bear under control this situation sorted shortly!
ERROR CODE: 420 Can anyone else get to this page? swordsofreh.proboards.com/thread/52/warriors-steppe-movies-music-art?page=19 |

Same thing happened to me. My guess is that you've got a link in there that is causing problems. No idea what to do about it. Yet.

I had to remove, NOT delete, that last page. You can now continue posting on that thread. When Proboards finally figures out the problem, we can hopefully return all the other posts and maybe the problem post as well. I repeat, I have no idea what the IT problem is. As it is, the thread can continue on. Hope that helps. A few weeks ago, I found that I was having problems ( nothing like this) loading the entire "Gundermen" page. I ended up deleting a seemingly innocuous pic from a post of mine and the problem cleared right up. |

Thanks Deuce, I think it may have something to do with my second to last post - when I clicked on 'Create Post' the ERROR CODE:420 was shown. Does anyone know what happened to the ability to drag and drop photos? I used to do that with my own photos. It only gave you thumbnails when posting, but you could click on the thumbnail and you would have the full photo. Now that seems to be gone.

Don't know for sure but a while back I read there is an attachment limit for the forum which can only be increased by deleting old attachments or paying proboards for an upgrade to the forum facility. Can't remember if the attachment allotment is fixed or if it resets every month.

It's a fixed limit. Rather than deleting all the images already posted I just turned the attachment feature off.

Just curious: Is it a small amount of money to upgrade? Something we can pitch in to make happen, or is it something ridiculously expensive?

It's a monthly fee you pay, it's not a lot per month, but eventually you are going to hit a new limit and have to go back up to the next level. It's not really worth it. It's best to link using an outside image uploader: imgbb.com/imgur.com/uploadfreeimage.host/Then link it into your post using the image tags. Like below:  |
