Viking Jarl I'm enjoying the pen/colored pencil combo. he looks like a very happy Jarl. has he just seen his main rival get killed at Paris? has he just seen the wild whores of Paris kicking their legs up higher for Odin to see the glory of the can can dance? [ i know the 'can can' - can be traced back to 1830, but it's good to dream further than that ] ==== [ he also looks very like 1 of my biker friends from way back ] ==== Well done. ==== what message do the runes spell out on his medallion?

Thanks, Bux! Perhaps all of the above is correct! Celebrating a victory with ale and women makes for happy Vikings.

Very lifelike Officer Aggro! Almost get the impression of looking at a real person. Exactly! I echo the sentiment. Subject and technique are both impressive.

Great expression Officer Aggro!
She'd look good as a Malkavian too.

Great expression Officer Aggro! She'd look good as a Malkavian too. Thanks, VonKalmbach! I had to look up what a Malkavian is, and I totally forgot they were from Vampire. I haven't played that game in years, but I remember them now - you're right!

That was another one of your pics which reminded me in style of Tim Bradstreet and John Bolton, which in turn always reminds me of Vampire the Masquerade. Maybe that’s why I thought of Malkavians?
Have you thought of sending a couple of pieces in to the new Skelos journal? Would be good to see some of your art getting wider attention…

Maybe it was the one with the Viking with the ax over his shoulder... I'm not familiar with the new Skelos journal. Could you post the link for me?

When I was a small boy, my dad used to tell me bedtime stories of Chipper the Chipmunk and the adventures he took with his friends. My favorite stories, ones that I requested many times, were when Chipper and his friend, Bobby the Bear, would travel deep into the forest to visit The Elf. I remember some of those tales very fondly, and I gave this painting to my dad yesterday for Father's Day.
