Roy would be very well served to write a book about all the comic legends he has worked with during his career. That would be wonderful

Glad to see Charles back blogging again. I was surprised to find his own blog gone then recalled he'd mentioned a few times that he was thinking of closing it. Barbarian Life looks awesome. Imho Roy always was the relatively unacknowledged best of the pastichers.

I finished this last week. I think it's a fun, fascinating read, and I'm going to be doing a post on it for BlackGate.com.
I'll certainly use it for a couple of 'Hither Came Conan' bonus posts on Marvel adaptations of REH stories.
It's got a lot of great info in it.
I'm looking forward to the second volume.

Something to look forward to, as long as he finds his mojo and does a better job than he did on Dark Horse's "Road of Kings". That's when DH began to lose its way.

And in more ways than one, it was meant to fill a hole that shouldn't have existed chronologically. This one SHOULD be more organic in nature, and Alan Davis rarely disappoints for me. Fingers crossed.

Interesting news. Presumably in Age of Conan? If it's out this year, given CtB will be under Aaron until #12 and SSOC has a new creative team from #6.

It should either be under SSOC or out on it's own. Age of Conan was supposedly for people other than Conan, but who knows if it'll last past the first one.

The Jim Zub/Patch Zircher story arc will only be for 3 issues (between issues 7 & 9).
