Eh, not much worse than the typical rodeo cowboy.

Typical rodeo cowboy is in a mobility scooter by the age of 40.

Anyway, from what I've heard of people in undeveloped societies in South America and Central Asia, there's a very good chance that Conan the Barbarian doesn't completely understand the concept of "wealth" beyond what he can spend in a few days or weeks. If he were offered a reward in the form of something more immediately useful to him (x rations of spiced mead over the course of n years) he might be more willing to accept.

That's quite a list. It never occurred to me to tally the Cimmerian's injuries over his entire career, but seeing it there before my eyes, I have to conclude that Conan was a mutant, a remote ancestor of Wolverine, with the same regenerative and recuperative powers. Presumably they were the result of a recessive gene complex and the genes were scattered afar in the various kids he left in his travels, but came together again in Logan after thousands of years.

Didn't he get a "potion of healing" in Xuthal of the Dusk? That might have cleared up scarring from the previous stuff.

That would make a lot of sense, honestly. That, and Conan being essentially a demi-god.

Now we just have to come up with a theory on how Dirk Pitt lasted for so long on two feet.
