Interesting topic, but Jason Momoa's 'rising star power' has never been higher with his portrayal as Aquaman in Justice League after his success on Game Of Thrones. Could Momoa have enough star-power to get a one-shot reboot of Conan for Netflix/Amazon based on this success? If Momoa could pitch a moderately cost tv one-shot for one of the 2 major internet streaming video providers, who thinks he could get it greenlit?

I wouldn't mind seeing that happen, and I think he could do it with the right team behind him. Would he still be interested in playing Conan, though?

I'd like to see Jason Mamoa have another go at portraying Conan. I think he has been a little unlucky, or at least made a couple of bad moves concerning his movie career - mainly Conan and perhaps even Aquaman. The Justice League through no obvious fault of his own has not really impressed critics or the fans. Hopefully, the Aquaman movie will change that, just like Wonder Woman did for Gal Gadot.

JM seems like a good dude but I don't think he is a Conan. He was probably the best thing in that horrible film but that isn't saying much lol. I think we are going to have to face up to the prospect of never seeing a decent Conan adaptation on the screen, unless the people involved are real REH fans. Too many misconceptions about the character and it doesn't fit the typical "good guy / hero" mould of mainstream fantasy.

Jason has definitely got the looks acting chops and star power for the lead role as Conan. And if he was already on board it would help attract the other elements required. You’d need a good script and a good director to get the best out of him though. Round that out with great production team, with a solid design vision, and sufficient budget to implement it. Add those other ingredients (as Aggro suggests above) and I feel it would work.
Give Jason a well turned script based on one of REH’s original yarns and make a made for TV film which can act as a notional test pilot for a potential series.

And that's really what's needed to properly tell Conan's story - a series. Maybe now that Marvel will be owning the property soon, they can make a Netflix series like they did with other characters, such as the Punisher. I'd rather see it on a streaming service like that so that it doesn't get watered-down on some major network like the CW.

Probably would not happen anyway. WB has half ownership with CBS, and WB owns DC. It would have to be a Disney/ABC property . . . Freeform Conan!

Yes! A touching, heart-warming, coming-of-age story is exactly what we need.
