Sorry guys. when i made my very serious suggestions, i did not realise that disney now owned that business. So conan in comics is now truly f##ked ??
i will leave you to continue your long moaning and bonding session... ==== [ btw, years ago, when cpi anounced the 'red nails' animated film, i thought, good. so no more boring small picture comics. animated films will soon replace comics. [ i was quite excited at that ] but nothing happened. and more comics are still being produced.
So how many conan comics have you read so far? 450? how many more do you need, before you tell em to fekk off? [ and to go make some animated masterpieces ]

One thing I will say is, I did hear a Marvel individual say that Disney stays out of Marvel's affairs -- for the most part. However, that does not mean they will not protect their family-friendly image by neutering Conan.
I liked the way Red Nails was looking, actually. Could have been real fun. With all of the animated movie and series we have going on now (as opposed to the 70's and 80's), maybe we will see a more adult-oriented animated Conan series or movie?

Since Conan is a licensed character, it would likely refrain them from any major excesses they could do with their own characters (Wood’s run is one thing, a girl Conan series has a something else). They’ve recognized to some degree that all of that turned some readers off, so they can do a series that pushes boundaries without straying too far from the character.

So many things happening with Conan right now my head is spinning.
From the above links:
With C B Cebulski at the helm I'm quietly confident this will work out well.
Will they also be running Jim and Ruth Keegan's Adventures of Two Gun Bob?
This may also increase the chance of seeing a Conan movie or TV series from Marvel somewhere down the line.

So hopefully that's a good sign for Conan.

You never know maybe we'll get Conan: The Herald of Galactus LOL the only crossover I could accept would be with the Thor corner of the Marvel Universe. I thought the Conan Thor What If was cool, especially what Conan ended up doing at the end.

With the upcoming/probable demise of Jane Foster in the 'Death of the Mighty Thor' storyline this year you never know. Perhaps, a certain Cimmerian maybe the only sentient being worthy of the Mighty Mjolnir Here's the ending from What If 39 (words by Alan Zelenetz and art by Ron Wilson and Dan Bulanadi)

Might be pretty cool.
Then again, might be "Conan the Social Justice Warrior" who (led/scolded by the wise LBGT Advocate) is confronted by his own toxic masculinity and begins a journey to deconstruct himself.

Hopefully they learn from the past. Wood gave us a sensitive Conan and it helped bring down the book (the huge swings in art quality didn’t help either). Marvel believes it’s had its own issues with trying to change heroes affecting sales (to what level is up for debate), so I have to believe they’ll tread carefully in charting a new course for the barbarian.

I hope they bring back Savage Sword, in the same format as before. I do not want any crossovers with other Marvel characters, unless it's in a What If? type situation, or if they re-establish the Hyborian age ties to the Serpent Crown, Shuma-Gorath, Bloodstone, ect... This please. I loved Savage Sword and had most of them. This is the best option I think.
