Would these numbers include orders for the 2nd and 3rd printings?

Doubt it as I think the cut-off for ordering would have been later than the end of Jan. so we might see some additional sales in next month figures.

I look for it to settle in at the 20,000 - 29,000 level as well, hun. I think that's where it leveled out at DH via Iron Shadows in the Moonlight. Let's just hope Marvel doesn't make the same mistake and put Brian Wood on the book...watch it go back to 6,000 or 7,000 then. They should be happy with anything over 15,000 realistically for a non-superhero book.
I was expecting a steep drop off after #1 so I'm not surprised.

One thing in Conan's favor is that the rate of attrition could be less cos retailers do not like taking chances with the character so it could level out at around 30k.
I know some Conan fans don't like the idea of Conan in the Savage Avengers, but the character needs to be seen on the shelves to sell and I believe it will help maintain interest.

We might have found a bit of stability:
25 SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN #1 47,420
37 CONAN THE BARBARIAN #3 38,279
59 SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN #2 30,024
275 CONAN THE BARBARIAN #1 (reorders) 3,468
295 CONAN THE BARBARIAN #2 (reorders) 2,884
Plus there were a few True Believer issues in the 640 ballpark
In comparison:
98 RED SONJA #1 17,985
Trades
54 CONAN CHRONICLES EPIC COLLECTION TP DARKSOME HILLS 1,024
363 CONAN THE BARBARIAN OMNIBUS HC VOL 01 (reorders) 206
If things stay around here, Marvel should be very happy.

A slight increase on the previous issue of CtB. Hopefully it'll stay above 30,000. SSOC appears to be slightly under-ordered, hopefully the numbers improve next month.

Looks like, for now, we can compare the orders for Conan with Captain Marvel with just over 100,000 for the first issue and around 37,000 for the second issue. Nevertheless, I gotta feeling Captain Marvel will sell less than CtB with the 3rd issue next month. I just hope the Conan books can stay closer to the 40k mark.

Seems like they're a little late releasing the sales figures this month.

Seems like they're a little late releasing the sales figures this month. Very late, I checked every day this week but nothing. If it’s later than Monday, it’ll be among the latest they’ve done it (there was the delay a coupe months ago that was almost as late)

As long as Marvel is making money on these, they're fine. The question: is being in the Top 10 for $ invoiced enough to cover the restoration costs and still make a profit? The Luke Cage Masterwork last month was way down the list in units pre-ordered but made the Top 10 in $.

Hopefully they sell well enough so we can at least get omnibus editions of the initial Roy Thomas run on both CtB and SSOC.

They’re both around halfway through with V2 of each. Both Roy runs will probably finish up next year in each V4s. Maybe SSOC will need V5 to finish it up since he had some issues in the 60s that came out after other writers started on the title.

A little more info concerning Direct Market orders for Conan related books:
Graphic Novels
SSOC Omnibus at 38 - not so bad considering the 4th Omnibus volume of Avengers come in at 44 and THANOS WARS INFINITY ORIGIN at 72, not bad at all.
Comic Books
CtB seems to be doing OK, better than the 3rd issue of Captain Marvel at 58. I'm a little concerned about about the SSOC ranked at 70 already. Conan in Avengers No Road Home#6 appears to have sold out in all the comic shops in London and comes in at a very respectable 39.
35 CONAN THE BARBARIAN #4 39 AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #6 48 AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #4 51 AGE OF CONAN BELIT #1 53 AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #5 55 AVENGERS NO ROAD HOME #7 70 SAVAGE SWORD OF CONAN #3
The full direct market sales/orders should be available tomorrow.
