EARL NOREM has always been 1 of my top fave artists. He is brilliant, and as good as any other top fantasy artist. I adore the way he lays out a big scene, and fills it full of detail & excitement. -- Thanks.

I always loved this cover kinda reminds me of those old sword 'n sandal posters. I picked up a print of that cover painting at a comic con earlier this year... it now adorns the wall next to my Howard filled bookshelf... along with some other Conan material, Sam Glanzman Attu prints, Kubert TO stuff, etc. -M

Earl Norem, the greatest Conan cover artist of all time. Seeing the covers Dark Horse is putting out today just makes me cry.

Yeah, there's a comfy leather recliner just out of frame in that pic, and that is exactly what I use it for.

Earl Norem unused color design rough prelims for the cover of SSOC #166. A little look behind the curtain to see how the artistic wizard did his magic. Both concepts are different from the published final version, but still impressive as well!

Unfinished cover by Earl Norem, presented on the inside cover of SSOC 227 Too bad it didn't have a story of Conan's childhood, neither along with Isparana, as the unfinished cover shows...
