I recently watched this one. The story centers around three astronauts being cajoled into a plot to fake a mars landing so that the space program gets more funding. The astronauts learn that the official story given to the public is that they were killed on reentry and so try and make their escape to avoid actually being killed by the people running the conspiracy. Good movie, and it starred James Brolin.
Just to clarify, I am not one of those guys who is into the 'moon landing was faked ' conspiracy theory thing. I liked this one cause it reminded of many of the movies I grew up watching about ordinary ( or almost ordinary ) people who get themselves into this situation and spend the rest of the movie trying to extricate themselves and escape the danger, an element of anxiety, running all night/day type of story. Movies like The Terminator, Escape from New York, Westworld, The Warriors and Judgement Night come to mind.
Henry Cavil certainly seems to look and sound the part. If this goes well it would likely increase the chances of a TV network being interested in Conan/Kull/Kane (and other iconic fantasy properties of course). Geralt has the advantage of the popular game series based on the Witcher being very much admired by the fans.
