What scares me the most is the fact that I will get a copy. Coolness beating ridiculousness....at the moment.
'A prophecy says that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero will come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.'
I know that I am going to probably hate myself for this.

I gotta admit I'm intrigued.
Mike Deodato is also a capable artist, he shoulda been on the main book.

Frank Castle and Conan (never thought I'd be typing this sentence in my life) could play off each other in a cool way. Both are killers and in his own way Frank reverts to barbarism when going the vigilante route.

but Frank would be at odds with Conan since Conan is in fact, a criminal...
Or is the Punisher different these days?

As long as they keep the Marvel superheroes out of the main Conan titles, not that I care all that much after my disappointment with the new SSOC. It seems that this time around Marvel wants Conan more intimately/directly connected to the Marvel universe. At least they have had the good sense to use characters like Elektra, Punisher, Wolverine and Venom.

What Duggan has to say in the original press release does not sound promising: "....At one point Conan believes that Logan hails from somewhere called Pabst, and that’s a well-earned miscommunication. That’s where a lot of fun comes from. Conan is a fish out of water, but everyone will come to respect the skills they’re all bringing to the fight.”
Could Pabst be where the mutants of the Hyborian Age hail from? Or humans with claws and a healing factor? I dunno, hopefully Marvel do not pursue this in the main Conan books.

I'm just going to look at Savage Avengers in a different light, being resigned to the fact that in this case Conan is another Marvel hero alongside Wolverine and Co. I hope they make it a good bash, a rumour about a fight between Wolverine and Conan. Agreed, hope this does not go the other way around, especially since I will be reading more CtB
