It's a shame Marvel didn't give Deodato Conan, since he was apparently keen to work on a barbarian comic. Maybe there was more going on behind the scenes.

I have to admit, I'm quite interested to see how this series plays out, how Conan interacts with characters like the Punisher and Wolverine. So am I. I'm a little concerned that Mike Deodato will probably not be on Savage Avengers long enough to establish any consistency art-wise on the book.
