Real cool. Too bad I bought the color issues already. This makes me want to drop the comics and wait for the trades.
Or quit Marvel altogether.

Good to see but I wonder if it'll be more expensive than the colour version like the Glenat B&W versions.

Well, at least they're thinking outside the box. It'll save me time converting them to B&W!

It does look nice, and I will pick it up, but it feels as if something is missing still. What I loved about the drawings from the old Savage Sword B & W , is that it seemed to have more depth about it, even with so many varying artists. The background often had more detail with differing variances of shading, instead of just plain one shade for the background, if there is any background at all. I am not trying to nitpick as I think they (Marvel) are at least giving it a go, publishing this in B & W, well done. Perhaps I am just having a whinge, and I shouldn't try to compare the only four current issues we've got so far, against hundreds from the past, just feeling nostalgic I guess.

You're right, the older editions had quite a lot of detail in some panels, although I have seen some panels not quite so detailed in the older SSOCs. This one is quite busy.. But this one has a lot of blank space....
I think we'll just have to wait and see.

The cover looks like something I would find in a trash bin at collage art class.
