The art of Zircher looks OK.
I think Jim Zub did a very good job with his portrayal of Conan in Avengers: No Road Home #6, at least Jim Zub acknowledged the classic Roy Thomas run. With this story-arc let's see, he's got Conan back in Shadizar again.

At first glance I had the impression Conan and Venon were having a fight...

Gonna knock this off my pull list. This next arc will probably suck. I'll keep an eye out for any promising one shots tho!

Don't forget the Great Roy Thomas will be writing SSOC #10. He needs to do a better job than Road of Kings. Geez, Taurus, you realize that 90% of your posts could be distilled down to 'Marvel Sucks!' ?
I get it. The only thing they're doing that's acceptable is re-issuing Savage Sword.
But here we see the interpreter of REH who was primarily responsible for SSOC's greatness being given a chance to write us a brand new tale and even that is greeted with bitterness.
On one hand I get where you're coming from, but on the other I wonder how you can maintain such a consistent level of embittered disappointment. It's comics. Wait a while and they'll change. Will we see Thomas and Smith again? No. That's impossible. But we pushed our way through Wood's run, didn't we? Things change. Marvel's had Conan for less than a year. Enjoy those old SSOCs and let it roll on by.

This artwork is quite refreshing and I am liking it the more I see. I think it is the backgrounds that appeal to me the most. I do love a good background, as they give you a better sense of the surroundings, rather than the common use of colour shades, or light silhouette outlines. I think I will enjoy this issue.

Most of the comics out these days do have a lack of quality background work. It's so important imo. Good background work gives each panel character. Also, it will turn the surroundings (city, village, forest) into it's own character.

If something is bad, I say it is bad; if something is good, I say it too. I have expressed my contentment and discontentment whenever something pleases me or not. But If my discontentment is bothering you, I think it may be bothering others, so I will stop it right here and say only good things when I find good things.

One really good thing about the art in this preview is that it looks like Patch Zircher has kept clear of digital inking. On second thoughts these digital brushes can be pretty convincing these days.
