Do Marvel need to take it easy with all these new Conan Books? Should Marvel establish their customer base first before adding new titles? What books or book would you like to see cancelled? Taking into consideration the current market would you like to see more Conan books? Should Conan stay in the Savage Avengers? Even if the title turns out to be successful? Anyways, here's a very interesting video by PulpHero Audio (I used the title of the video for the name of this thread): Get It Together, Marvel! (A Tale of Too Many Conan Comics)
Description: Is overexposure in a declining comic book sales market hurting Conan’s Marvel Comics comeback? Here's a link to PulpHero Audio's Youtube Channel: www.youtube.com/channel/UCUeNqviBiar6QLm4ChAqsKg

Is Savage Avengers an ongoing series? I had assumed it was a mini.

I believe Marvel does not know what they are doing with Conan. They decided to fire on all cilinders to see what they get after a while. Not a nice plan, it seems.

I'd stick with Conan the Barbarian but show Asrar the door. He's not a good fit. I'd keep Aaron for now.
Relaunch SSOC as either a b&w or MAX title. Use only foreign artists. I'd get Tim Truman to write it.
Relaunch Age of Conan as a series of one-shots written by Roy Thomas.
Keep Conan in Savage Avengers only if you can keep getting B+ or A list artists. It's good exposure for the character.

I'm starting to enjoy Jason Aaron's run. At least he's trying to do something with the character, I probably don't agree with half of it, but the series is improving. I think the art of Mahmud Asrar has improved over the series, it's not perfect, still his best work to date.
The problem I have with Duggan's Conan, he's just another barbarian with a sword with very little characterisation in both SSOC and the Savage Avengers. They really should have made SSOC stand out from the main series like the old series did.
Maybe with the inevitable relaunch Marvel will bring back something similar to the old SSOC in B&W with a painted cover and the odd gallery/portfolio now and then, articles concerning REH and Conan and of course continue with the prose novellas at the back.
They should cancel Age of Conan, SSOC would be an ideal magazine to occasionally introduce other characters from the Age of Conan, in 10 page stories at the back of the SSOC.
With the Savage Avengers, let's wait and see. If it sells, why not?

Perhaps it's my age but I'm getting confused by what is what at the moment. The local comic store this week has Conan titles in at £1, they are re-prints of old SSOC, I think. There was also a King Conan title. A few weeks back they had the new SSOC and CtB, I think. I'll wait for the collections, not interested in something that only takes me five minutes to read

I’ve lost interest in Marvel’s Conan. I’ve still haven’t read last months issues of SSOC and the main book yet. I keep forgetting and when I do remember, I just do t really want to.

So later on this year we're gonna have the following Conan or Conan related comics: 1. Conan The Barbarian 2. Savage Sword of Conan 3. Savage Avengers 4. The new Conan story with Roy Thomas and Alan Davis (unless it's gonna be in the SSOC) and another Age of Conan: Valeria. As far as we know, anyways. At this rate Conan will be in more books than Wolverine

Great Cover, but so was the first Belit cover by Sana Takeda: The artist Aneke seems competent enough, but then again so did Kate Niemczyk until she got on the Belit book. Aneke on Red Sonja: I dunno. Let's see, it can't be as bad as the recent renditions of Belit.
