Could this simply be a reporting mistake made by CNN? I can see how it looks suspicious, but I'm also wondering if this is just human error on their part. The second vid on the techpowerup link shows a cybersecurity expert describing how the electronic voting system is riddled with hacking vulnerabilities and connected to the internet. He shows the vote switching process in the vid. He runs a team of security professionals (both cyber and physical) including ex three letter agency personnel, who left their jobs dissatisfied with the shennanigans that go on behind the scenes in these agencies. In the vid he shows an example from 2018 between Beshear and Bevin where the exact same ‘anomaly’ occurs as in the 2020 PA vid above. Also used for vote meddling are Hammer and Scorecard, intelligence service systems originally used for overseas operations that were put at the disposal of, and secretly used by, the DNC via encrypted VPN’s back under Obama, and which was publicly referred to by Biden himself, though not directly. I suspect that once the many issues are all resolved in the courts Trump will be declared the legal winner. But no matter who ultimately wins one half of the country will feel cheated.

OK, but I'm wondering if this specific instance could have simply been an error in reporting, though. I do agree that there's likely been plenty of hacking, miscalls, security breaches, errors and issues in election history - That's always been in question, from the supposed Russian hacking 4 years ago to the Florida recount 20 years ago and Dewey defeating Truman back in the 40's.

That's always possible. Here's a diagram from the cyber-security guy's presentation that shows how the systems fit together: The lines represent electronic connections. According to the vid the Media (on the right) get their figures from the voting database live and direct so if the core database is changed the live figures change very quickly to reflect that. He described how easily a hacker can get onto a database and batch switch votes on the database. One of his team sat outside a voting center in his car and got inside the system using his smartphone. Three main types of electronic fraud are being discovered: Vote switching (see above) through direct hacking of Dominion Algorithmic vote adjusting (this is more complicated to pull off and I don't know how it's done) Vote interception and replacement in transit via use of Hammer and Scorecard Like you say this kind of stuff has likely been going on for some time. It's just that this time around there was too much at stake, too many discrepancies, and too many folks had their eyes on the ball.

Yikes, I hope it really isn't that easy. According to the NYT in October, most of the voting machines are hard to hack on a large scale because they're mostly offline, but who really knows. They also say a large chunk of all votes can be tied to some kind of paper record or ballot. All those mail-in ballots certainly are.

It just may go to the courts to decide if there was sufficient evidence of fraud to determine the winner of the presidential election, or at least order a recount in some of the states.
In all honesty I have no real way of guessing what the likely outcome will be at this point in time, but I think this highlights something that has been happening for some years, that is, the growing ideological divide in the west between the left and conservative or traditional elements.
No one wants to debate any more, people are more interested in shutting down conversation, bullying and vilifying those that have opposing viewpoints, a modus operandi started by the left, but increasingly spreading to all corners of society. Democracy seems under threat, the current situation in the US highlights this fact.
It was probably only a matter of time before the opposing ideologies would come to loggerheads in some major way, both feel threatened by the other side, both are increasingly finding it more challenging co existing with each other, and ultimately both will try and secure their position, even at the expense of the democratic process.
Something to note in a discussion about the collapse of civilization. I wonder what REH would have made of all this. Who knows.
“When a nation forgets her skill in war, when her religion becomes a mockery, when the whole nation becomes a nation of money-grabbers, then the wild tribes, the barbarians drive in... Who will our invaders be? From whence will they come?”
― Robert E. Howard
'Who will our invaders be?'

A legitimate recount would ultimately help to settle the matter. It is more than a little disconcerting that there may have been a Dominion system with an algorithm that was flipping votes from one candidate to another, not to mention workers trained to throw away Trump votes. A certain case to sue for invalid election results.
Even the Georgia recount has been criticized due to the use of the flawed Arlo system that they have utilizing.
There have been some disturbing findings of election fraud highlighted by Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell.

Sydney Powell has now left the team and will be focusing on the larger issues with Dominion etc, whilst President Trump's team focus on the more time intensive aspects of the more conventional election fraud.
From what I've been reading the Dominion system software may have been specifically written to be able to adjust, switch, drag and drop votes from one candidate to the other or otherwise change election results. It can reputedly count each full vote for one candidate as worth 0.75 and the other candidates votes worth 1.25 each. There are independent vids out there showing this algorithm in action through statistical analysis.
Dominion are being evasive and lawyering up. Ex Dominion employees have been deleting Dominion from their CV on Linkedin profiles in droves.
Sydney Powell recently received a twelve hour suspension on Twitter for posting a link to certain information featuring the business/financial links of Dominion/Smartmatic systems. Whoever tweets or retweets it on Twitter gets a 12 hr suspension. On Facebook the link cannot even be posted at all (AI/software blocked). Must have been some juicy info.

President Donald J Trump
'Biden can only enter the White House as President if he can prove that his ridiculous “80,000,000 votes” were not fraudulently or illegally obtained. When you see what happened in Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Milwaukee, massive voter fraud, he’s got a big unsolvable problem!'
President Trump has recently made some comments that he would leave the White House if the electoral college votes for Joe Biden.
The electoral college is due to meet on 14 December when each state’s nominated electors will cast their votes for the winner of the state’s presidential ballot. The votes are officially counted by Congress on 6 January.
Of course, he did note that alot can happen between now and January 20.

I've been following this election stuff closely, and I would urge people to look up their legal filings in court. There's a huge gap between what they're saying to the press and what they're saying in court. Why is that? To me, it's b/c of this: Anyone can say anything to the press. But in court, one has to put their name on the filings, and swear it's true, and present evidence, and there's repercussion for making stuff up. Look at Pennsylvania specifically. The Trump campaign is all "fraud! fraud! fraud!", but in Rudy Giuliani's he explicitly states "This is not a fraud case." It seems like they're trying to stir up so much stuff and muddy the waters. So they say "thousands of votes switched!", but in court filings, they cannot say which thousands, in which jurisdictions, or how. Plus, their lawsuits are getting tossed left and right. I'm not sure how Rudy's justifying his $20K/day paycheck with that record...

There does need to be more evidence put forward. It also doesn't help when the media avoids covering hearings in Pennsylvania when people did testify about major issues in those counties where things just so happened to break the right way. When 7 counties are told to do one thing with ballots and 60 others are told another, that's a big equal protection problem. What's the remedy? Don't know right now. All I know is something isn't right. To what extent I don't know.

Personally I've been looking up legal experts on twitter who pull apart legal proceedings, going paragraph by paragraph, but that's not a good method for lay people b/c of the amount of legalese involved... If nothing else I think there will be a great deal more clarity around Dec. 14 when a bunch (or even all? Havne't looked it up) electoral votes are officially cast.

It seems certain people worked long and hard to make sure it ended up this messy and that has to stop. December 14th is set by statute, all the electors vote in the state capitols on that date. Then January 6 is when Congress meets to affirm the electors vote. Technically, that's the final check there. I think we've had at least 5 times where the House has had to decide it, some on the up and up, some not. Each state gets a vote as a delegation and the interesting thing might be the party in control of Congress and the party with the most state delegations may be different. Stay tuned...

Was WW1 really the first world war ? The Seven Years War, the mid-18th Century battle for supremacy among Europe's great powers, and the Napoleonic Wars were also fought across the globe, on multiple continents causing severe disruption to global trade. In fact the Napoleonic Wars raged across the world for over twenty years. France, led by the Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, struggled for domination against an alliance of its many enemies, from Britain to Russia. It was truly the first global war. Napoleon tried to starve Britain by banning trade with Europe. In some ways there are parallels between World War Two and the Napleanic Wars, we had a continental European power seeking domination over Europe, France in the early 1800's, Germany in the mid 20th century. We had a Napolean creating a military dictatorship following the chaos and disruption brought on by the failed French Revolution, Hitler's dictatorship following the social, political and economic conditions that resulted from Germany's defeat in WW1.In both cases they tried to invade Russia, military failures in the east resulted in the eventual decline and defeat of Napolean and of the Third Reich almost a century and half later. In both cases the British fought the continental powers of Napolean's France and Hitler's Germany. What might the next major world conflict look like ?
