By Crom, Kulan Gath is really tough, even more of a threat than Galactus and Thanos. Conan dies and comes back again. All this stuff gets pretty boring after awhile - they did the same with Hickman's X-Men where a character is resurrected leaving no sense of danger whenever they go on an adventure, the movies are also heading in the same direction with alternate timelines, and alternate versions of the same character and multiversesssssssssssssss.
Still a good read, but I'm getting fed up with characters coming back from the dead every week at Marvel & probably DC or in Conan's case a year and a half from the Jason Aaron run. Aaron will probably kill Conan again in the King Conan series.

Sadly these days writers seem unable to tell a story without deaths/ resurrections ad infinitum , one of the reasons I've pretty well given up on modern comics.

It can get confusing. We saw Conan die and end up wandering forever in the misty wilderness, but Kang somehow screws with the time lines so that Conan is given another chance to get at Kulan Gath in the savage land. So what happens to Conan in the afterlife ?!?

REVIEW: SAVAGE AVENGERS #27
The end of Savage Avengers is near as Duggan and Zircher begin to wrap up their years-spanning tale. The closer it gets to the end, the more this title lives up to its name. A harrowing plot involving some of Marvel's darkest heroes combined with Zircher's horrifically brutal line art makes for some killer (no pun intended) storytelling. That's most definitely the case here, as Savage Avengers #27 includes one of the book's gnarliest of scenes involving Kulan Gath and the return of a certain Many-Angled villain. The story itself is shaping to wrap itself of nicely—or as nicely as this ragtag group of Avengers can, at least. -- Adam Barnhardt Rating: 4 out of 5 comicbook.com/comics/news/new-comic-reviews-dc-marvel-image-december-15-2021/#4

Savage Avengers has more twists and turns than all the combined rollercoasters in the world.

I enjoyed the series in a kind of offbeat way. Hope we get to see more of Savage Avengers in the future.

Whether or not Marvel actually goes through with it, it does leave Conan in present day so there is a chance we get more Conan comics set in modern times.
