On May 1, The Psychedelic Furs are releasing their first album in almost 30 years! Two songs have been released in advance; this one is "You'll be Mine." I love the sentiment - it is how I often feel these days.

Every single time someone says or types, "We're in this together," about the Coronavirus, I can't help but to think of the Nine Inch Nails song, "We're In This Together". It's been stuck in my head a lot lately, but it's a great song to have there!

Neil Young’s Tuscaloosa from the 1972 Harvest tour, the latter part of which was documented on Time Fades Away. This has more of the hits (Heart of Gold, Old Man) but also has some newer songs that would be released on Tonight’s the Night. If Time Fades Away began the Ditch Trilogy (and early reports have the hopefully soon to be released Howevrown make it a quartet), this album has Neil heading off the road towards the ditch. Interesting document from a time NY isn’t particularly fond of.

The Furs have released another track from their coming album release (can you still say album?). This one is a moody song with a horror based feel to it. Look for the subtle Lovecraftian nod in the song.

I grew up in one of those households with Pat Boone records. I wonder if my parents would get this one.

Jan Hammer- Drive. I'ma huge fan of his work on the Miami Vice tv series, but rapidly coming to the conclusion that he was a bit of a one-hit wonder. Sorry Mr Hammer. For instrumental music, i go to either Rob Dougan (you know his music from The Matrix Reloaded) and Jean Michel Jarre.

Great song from an excellent album. I saw Ministry on tour for it in '92. Have they cancelled the July concert...or is it just postponed until a slightly later date !?!
