To those of you (particularly UK citizen's like myself or European) who have attended this event in the past, bearing in mind this year is taking place in the middle of June, is there not a slight chance the weather is going to be like an absolute steambath? I've already cancelled a trip to Arizona for late May due to the weather being on the wrong side of uncomfortable, so the idea of being in Texas in Mid-June with the temperature hitting 33°C is really not something i relish. Any feedback or advice from people who have been there before is most welcome...

Been over twice , and coming again this year , both times were hot ,touching a 100, but it's a dry heat and we both managed OK though it was nice to sit in the car with the AC LOL. Anything else you want to know just ask. Terry

Thanks for the news linefacedscrivener. Unfortunate, but a wise decision in the current circumstances.

Thanks for the news linefacedscrivener. Unfortunate, but a wise decision in the current circumstances. I agree, it is a wise decision. Especially because I know in planning one of these events, the really heavy lifting starts about now. I think that is why they announced so far out. Also, if you look at the maps of countries that have the virus, the really rural areas, even in Italy and Germany, seemed to be spared of any cases. As long as we stay away, Cross Plains may be spared entirely. Again, like you said, a wise decision, but still a bummer. That also makes my sixth trip/event canceled! Oh, well. Gearing up for Howard Days 2021.

Yes it's a shame but understandable and with quite a few of us oldies , as well as trying to get from Europe etc. we weren't surprised . One of the Project Pride ladies has told me that they have a case in Brownwood which isn't far away.

I've had a whole raft of events cancelled across the board, so much so that the team at Future Publishing can't keep up with updating fans of hard rock music fast enough and have shelved the service. Hopefully i can be in attendance for Howard Days next year.

Hope to see you there , we've had various gigs we were going to cancelled of course. The lad is still hoping Faith No More might get over later in the summer.
