I think they'd have to be convinced there IS a market for that. That may be harder than actually finding a couple of people willing to do it. Why did Marvel buy the license (or, did it just revert to them...Dark Horse didn't pony up for a second go?) if they didn't think the title was profitable? They get the old material back, it's been like printing money for them. Joey Da Q said letting Conan go was one of the big mistakes Marvel made around the time he took over. I think the new titles have been incidental, unless there is a long term plan to get Conan into visual media. So they can do A Conan title just to get him into comics. Doing a GOOD Conan comic...well, that's been trickier.

Doing a GOOD Conan comic...well, that's been trickier. It'll be interesting to see if that continues once they start reprinting comics beyond the Roy Thomas run. It could end up being something similar to what happened at DH with better sales for the SSOC reprints.
