This looks great. It happens to be one that I'd translated myself. My French isn't as good as it used to be so I ended up referring back to the original Howard text for some context but this looks pretty good, and is quite possibly one of the better Glenat adaptations. Despite having my own translated version, I'll definitely pick it up for some of the variant covers.

Do you intend to translate all the adaptations? Ideally, Ablaze shoulda collected these adaptations in an oversize hardback, something closer to the original. The artwork and text seem cluttered in regular comic book size.

Do you intend to translate all the adaptations? Ideally, Ablaze shoulda collected these adaptations in an oversize hardback, something closer to the original. The artwork and text seem cluttered in regular comic book size. So far I have 3 stories completely translated, aside from the 4 already translated by Ablaze. I'm thinking my next translation may be Rogues in the house or Man-eaters of Zamboula. Rogues in the house looks better in terms of art but I'm already started with the Man-eaters of Zamboula so I might just go ahead with that one as it's also pretty short compared to the other Glenat adaptations. So I intend to have all the adaptations in Hardcover English format so I'll translate those adaptations not solicited by Ablaze as yet. I completely agree with you on the oversized hardback comics. Also I'd rather the stories in their own individual books rather than 2 in 1 HC. That's actually the reason I started translating it myself. On the topic of Iron Shadows in the moon, this one was great. In fact I'd say it's my second favorite adaptation after the frost giant's daughter. However, I think Rogues in the house is gonna probably take it's place when I actually read it in English.

This look really good, thanks for posting this, hun. The fact that daniel says this is his second favorite adaptation really has me looking forward to this now.

My personal favorite is the first variant cover up there. Definitely has that classic Conan feel. I've said before that I'm not a fan of excessive variants but I do also love the homage covers that Ablaze is doing.

The first two are fantastic, I can't place that Marvel homage for the life of me, but it looks silly on a Conan comic. Those first two variants are superior to the "A" cover, even. I'd be happy to grab either of them.

These are great, so far. Is the plan to do every original Conan story?

These are great, so far. Is the plan to do every original Conan story? I imagine Glenat wants to do them all in French, and I can't imagine Ablaze not translating them into English. I hope so, anyway, Ablaze really need to proofread the single issues better (I've seen signs of this improving in the Frost Giant's Daughter) but aside from that I have no other complaints.... Other than that I'd buy the hardcovers too if they were oversized.

True, it is definitely below par compared to the rest but I hope it's something they continue to do.

Ah yes, sometimes I feel like they just run the French text into google translate. the errors kinda pop out to me but I'm certainly grateful they're doing the adaptations. They are definitely getting better I think all it needs is a little bit of proofreading, maybe refer back to the original Howard texts. Proofreading should not be too hard now, especially since they are making each adaptations 3 issues instead of the initial 2 issues they were doing since it means they have more time to cover smaller portions of the story.
