Somewhere in the 80's or maybe even before, a finnish comic-artist made his own works based on the novels of Conan that were available to him at the time. The original comics were made in finnish, because he red the books in finnish in the firt place. Later on, some of them were translated to English and other languages.

a very talented artist. and he has a sense of humour, too: see the chickens, and the flying fish. Thanks very much. Can you post any more like that, please?

The artist says that there are no official translated versions published, but there are some fan-created translations on the web. Got to rely on google here... -.-

Very cool artwork. It shows you can go at Conan with a slightly different style and it can still look good. But grasping the source material is a must.
Agreed, DH should publish these to replace the bastardization Wood penned.

Looks like a great adaption! Very stylish.
Would it look better inked?
Wish Cromsblood were still around. I'm sure he could have produced some great colour samples.

I would gladly buy this. if anybody has more can these please post. cheers.

I tried the download, it came up as a RAR file, but fortunately Stuffit Expander sorts it out. I'll can put up the pages as attachments. I think if members sign in they can view the pages full size. Queen of the Black Coast part 1
