Thanks for the update linefacedscrivener. Amongst all the fantastic illustrations of this scene I don't think anyone quite captured the "head of nightmare and lunacy" as well as that original illustration from Harold S DeLay. Wish he could have had a shot at illustrating more scenes from the Conan yarns back in the day.

Thanks for the update linefacedscrivener. I agree. And I like his version of Conan, too. Sort of a brawny looking pirate.

Yeah, I really like G.W. Thomas' stuff. The Dark Worlds Quarterly is a website I go to daily and quite often get some really good reading recommendations.
