These are actresses who have been considered for the role of Red Sonja by the producers since the project of the reboot started.
Something like the above, white and red haired, kind of statuesque, just like she was portrayed in the comics. She was Hyrkanian, that is true, but Eurasians run the whole spectrum, from Mongolian types in the far east, to white red haired Russians and some Turks in the far eastern European part. Notice the predominance of red hair in that part of Russia, and the region crosses various Turkic peoples. In any case, we are talking about the comic creation by Roy Thomas and Barry Windsor Smith for Marvel more than REH's Hyrkanians, which interestingly enough, were somewhat mixed by Conan's time.

It's an interesting discussion, and I like the concept about a very Hyrkanian Mongolian looking female warrior. That would work. Something like this comes to mind for a different character. However, I'm a stickler for the Marvel comics Red Sonja, bikini chain mail and all.

Bah!
If were going to be disgruntled about it, I demand a super-accurate grim-dark adaption of Shadow of the Vulture.
The movie is a hit, and REH accurate Red Sonya eclipses the Marvel version in popularity and spawns a slew of sequels.
In some parallel universe anyway.

Looking at previous posts it is no surprise considering according to screenwriter Tasha Huo 'Hyrkania is an imaginary world and I can present it as I wish'. That would have bee in interesting and totally in-line with the comic book Sonja's Hyrkanian origins. Though interesting how no-one complained about making her a white, chain-mail bikini clad super model. I suppose this is the same era when Conan always wore a fur diaper Turco-Mongols are kinda used to that kinda thing on screen with actors like John Wayne and Omar Sharif portraying Genghis Khan.

Look forward to sequel Shadow of the She-Devil

Just thinking, it'd be interesting if a white, chain-mail bikini clad super model portrayed Genghis Khan, Attila or Tamerlane in a movie

Something like the above, white and red haired, kind of statuesque, just like she was portrayed in the comics. That is Canadian actress, Rachelle Lefevre. Six, or seven years ago she would be excellent choice for Sonja. She is 42y now.
Elena Satine, American actress of East European origin-from Georgia. Another natural red haired real life Red Sonja. 33y but still in good shape.
Bella Thorn, not a natural rh, but its obvious that she has the look, the shape and the attitude of She Devil.

I think an eastern European red head would make a lot of sense, perhaps Russian, the geographical location fits the comic book heroine, even REH's distant Red Sonya of Rogatino fame is a red haired Polish Ukrainian. Just add a chain mail bikini to the above figure and there you have it.
