For those interested, the REH Foundation Press store has been revamped at the official REH Foundation site here: rehfpress.com/We are in the process of putting out the new, 2nd editions of all REH Foundation Press books that have sold out in their 1st editions. The first book up for sale is the new version of The Collected Letters of Robert E. Howard Vol. 1 in hardback. The trade paperback version of Vol. 1 and the other hardback and trade paperback versions of Vols. 2 & 3 will be offered for sale as soon as the new cover artwork is done on them. Other books that will become available as soon as the cover art is done are: The Complete Poetry of Robert E. Howard, now in 3 volumes Adventures in Science FantasyThe Steve Harrison CasebookTales of Weird MenaceSwords of the NorthSpicy AdventuresWe will eventually make available all of the Foundation Press books once they have sold out in their 1st editions. |

I was hoping for a wider distribution of the 2nd editions.
Continuing with this limited buying possibility people living outside the US will still have to pay about three times as much as the cover price, because international shipping, VAT and duty costs are so high.

I know what you mean , hopefully the TPB's will work out quite a bit cheaper. Or even better do a deal with Titan for distribution as they are doing the pastiche novels. |

The Collected Letters of Robert E. Howard Vol. 1, Ultimate Edition, is now available on Amazon in both hardback and trade paperback. We hope this will allow you outside the USA to be able to get them at a decent price.
We hope to have Vols. 2 and 3 available, soon, as well as the new ultimate editions of all prior REHFP eventually.

The main hiccup has been the problems with so many printers closing down due to Covid, and for the ones still open, getting supplies due to the supply chain shortages and, again, lack of workers in the supplies industries due to Covid producing enough of the supplies.
Letters Vols. 2 and 3 have been ready to be printed, but are waiting their turn in line behind other peoples' books to be done, and for enough supplies to print them. The first vol. of the Complete Poetry is also ready and waiting. Science Fantasy and Steve Harrison just need to have their formats changed to the larger sized books the Ultimate Editions are in, and should be ready to go depending on the printer.

The hardback is not yet available on amazon.ca , only the paperback.
Will this be the exact same hardback as if ordered directly from the Foundation?
Also, which is more profitable for the Foundation? Direct order or Amazon?

It is the exact same book as we sell through the Foundation. It's a little more profitable for the Foundation buying from us as Amazon doesn't get a cut.

Just announced, the Ultimate Editions of The Collected Letters of Robert E. Howard, Vol. 2 and Steve Harrison's Casebook will make their debut at Howard Days, in limited copies with the signatures of the editors. They will then go on sale at the Foundation website and at Amazon on June 14 (no editors' signatures on these). Letters Vol. 2 is already up for pre-order on Amazon.

All 3 volumes of REH Poetry:  The Collected Poetry of Robert E. Howard, Volume 1Out now!$44.99 Hardcover Robert E. Howard wrote poetry. He wrote it first in life, last in life, and throughout life. Howard completed around 300 stories for commercial sale and worked on 300 more. But he wrote over 700 poems, virtually none of them meant for commercial markets. His first publication outside of school was his poem “The Sea”, published in a local paper. His famous “All fled, all done…” couplet, borrowed from Viola Garvin, was allegedly the last words he typed. And in between, poetry gushed from him.
Howard poured himself into his poetry, undisguised. What amazed him, what drew him, what scared him, what sickened him. He wasn’t worried about what we the eventual readers would think of him as an author. And perhaps this is true of any real poet, the fearlessness of saying what one really wants to say.
This three-volume set, The Collected Poems of Robert E. Howard includes all of Howard’s poetry that has been found, including all the earlier draft versions, where such exist. This is indeed the Ultimate collection of Robert E. Howard’s poetry.
