Looks a lot like Jason Momoa's Conan on that cover.

It's almost like they're goading him: Jason...come on...you know you want to try it again...

This is pretty boring so far and unengaging. Great art, but something has been lost in the prosses of adaption. There's no narration and there are many small alterations to scenes that don't work for me. While it has been quite some time since I've read Hour Of The Dragon, it seems that almost all of the dialogue has been rewritten as well. Don't really like it too much.

I have to admit, I'm not so crazy about it either. I think these adaptations of longer stories still suffer from being crammed into such limited arcs, and now with the longest Conan story that Howard wrote only spanning four issues, it really shows. They're still worth it for the art, though!

THE CIMMERIAN: HOUR OF THE DRAGON #2 Last time I read this story in comic form was one of the early SSOC, forgot issue number. Well done with the art, although Conan looks a little like a Klingon barbarian on that cover, at least to me.

This issue was cut so much it was probably the quickest thing I've read in a long time. Especially since they put 25% of the actual novel at the back of the book. Art and writing is on point though

Yeah, it's otherwise very well done. Too bad they could squeeze out a couple more issues in order to leave more of the story intact, but I'm still enjoying it for it is.

Taking some liberties with the narrative aren't they?
