I did not realize Bunn had been contracted to write Kane until I found this buried in an article about Parasomnia: LinkReally adds to the sense (particularly on top of cancelling Dark Agnes), that the Howard properties lost an opportunity at Marvel. I certainly had expected Serpent Wars to be a prelude to Dark Agnes and Solomon Kane comics.

Yes I would have imagined that would have followed Agnes. How things are I guess it'll depend on how King Conan does whether Marvel think it's worth doing any more Howard characters. Being a number 1 with variant covers that'll sell well , have to see how it holds up after that.

What a shame, Bunn could do a great Solomon Kane comic as his main comic books are horror themed, also I do liked a lot their take on Dark Agness.
NOTE: Within the "Serpent War" there was a short story writted by CL. Wegner that was wonderful, hopefully one day he could writte a Kane story again.
