What an outstanding interview.
Many interviews only skim the surface, but this probes deeply, covering themes & process in a great way.
Of course it doesn’t hurt that Hocking (vying w/ Howard Andrew Jones) is a “first read” in Tales from the Magicians Skull for me.
What great insight into writer who I always enjoy.
Fly in the ointment: he doesn’t say explicitly but sure makes it sound like Conan & the Living Plague is dead. Uses past tense when describing, etc.
Boo to that, says I.
Now I’m off to read companion interview at TFTMS.

Great interviews. I sincerely hope that we get some collections of Hocking's various series at some point. I have room on my shelves that yearn to be filled.
