Interesting how Ablaze have the rights to do this , especially with Marvel already having done series' for both. I wonder what deal , if any , Funcom/Cabinet have done? Does this mean Marvel have given up with REH apart from Conan?

It's got to be really confusing. I'm guessing it has to have something to do with "As long as Conan isn't in it..." They also possibly have not laid any kind of wide claim to the characters since they came from stories in the public domain. Or Marvel may have made some kind of deal where they can do Conan, Kull and Solomon Kane but other people can do things with other lesser characters. Heck if that's the case, they should've went ahead and called it Shuma Gorath...but that story ISN'T public domain yet...oy...

Nice. The bar is really low on these two thanks to Marvel's two mini series that were abominations.

Hopefully this can be a good series but I cant imagine Belit and Valeria traveling togheter, just cant thnk of it, thye seem to be too far away from each other in Conans life.

Thanks Garbanzo. Yeah, I agree, I'm not gonna waste my time reading this new series. Ablaze should stick to reprinting the Glenat adaptations. ...and Marvel should just stick to completing the omnibus editions of the old Conan Marvel run.

Completely wrong art style for this kind of comic book series. It looks like a comic for children and teen girls.

Yeah, that makes zero sense. What they could have done is have a young Valeria traveling from Aquilonia to where ever and her ship gets attacked by the Tigress. She remains a captive and ends up helping them with some plot. In the end she leaves but wants to continue this life of adventure. It's pure fan fic, but might have been interesting in the right hands.

Oh dear the art doesn't look much better than Marvel's series. Er,"Rising from a watery grave" does the writer not know Conan set the ship on fire for a Viking type funeral. *Sigh*

The irony: Belit is back from the grave, but looks less like one of the undead than her last few comic appearances.
