I was just looking at my old Ballantine Tarzan covers. One of the all time greats and a great guy I had the honor to meet in person.

Although he didn't do much Conan , those Savage Tales covers were excellent

Although he didn't do much Conan , those Savage Tales covers were excellent One color, one B&W and a bunch of inking with the Bunkers. He left his mark, wish there would've been more like just about everything else he did...well, maybe Batman Odyssey, anyone figured that out yet?  |

Aw man, that's sad news.  I have one of his published sketch books, among the old SSOCs, that I still look at for inspiration, reference or ideas from time to time. A fantastic artist who will be missed! RIP. |
