Will Titan release # 6-8 of Savage Sword of Conan omnibus? I am asking because on Amazon # 5 is already listed for pre-orders. I also wonder if Titan will release the whole run of Conan the Barbarian again, right after Marvel doing just the same. My understanding is that Titan is REISSUING Omnis 1 through 8 for those that missed the out of print Marvel editions ... as well as continuing from where they left off with Volume 9.

Volumes 5, 6 & 11 from Amazon: The Savage Sword Of Conan: The Original Comics Omnibus Vol.5 Hardcover – 1 April 2025
by John Buscema (Author), Roy Thomas (Author) Conan at his finest! Savage, brutal and always… EPIC!
Freed from the strict Comic Code Authority stamp of approval, the Savage Sword of Conan magazine was always more hard-hitting and savage than its sister title Conan the Barbarian, and featured more action, violence and raunch and Omnibus Volume 5 of the original comic series is no exception.
This volume sees Michael Fleisher and Bruce Jones joining stalwart regular Roy Thomas on the writing duties, and artist Ernie Chan joining legends Ernie Colan and Gil Kane on art duties. Omnibus Volume 5 carries on the legacy in fine form!
New writers Michael Fleisher and Bruce Jones join Conan legend John Buscema to drive the barbarian's black-and-white adventures in savage new directions! To topple a decadent royal, Conan must brave a moat of blood filled with gruesome monsters. The barbarian survives a ship capsizing in storm-tossed seas, only to awaken on the shores of an island filled with beautiful but deadly tiger-riding women warriors! Then, sadistic King Razak lures Conan into a death-filled maze. Writer Roy Thomas returns for a locked-door mystery set at sea, with Conan playing the sleuth. Plus, comic art master Alex Toth delivers a stunning Conan art portfolio. This volume also brings back fan-favorite characters like Jenna and Murilo to the supporting cast.
This volume sees classic stories such as “Plunder of Death Island”, “Dwellers in the Depths”, ‘The Sea of No Return” and “Lurker in the Labyrinth” giving full reign to the savagery of Conan. Featuring the usual assortment of superb pin up art by some true greats of the comic book form. This book also features a section of rarely seen bonus material!

Showcasing double-length stories by some of the best artists and writers in the business including Michael Fleisher, Chris Claremont, and stalwart regular Roy Thomas, Alfredo Alcala, Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema among others.
In this massive 1008-page Omnibus collection, writer Michael Fleisher hits his stride with a series of mold-breaking Conan tales including 'The Temple of the Twelve-Eyed Thing,' 'Demons of the Firelight' and 'Dominion of the Bat', illustrated by top talents including Alfredo Alcala, Ernie Chan and, of course, the one and only John Buscema! Meanwhile, X-MEN superstar Chris Claremont pens an adventure that pits Conan against the minions of Thoth-Amon in a tour de force drawn by Val Mayerik! Conan legend Roy Thomas is also on hand to tell solo stories of Conan's 'Red Nails' colleague, Valeria. Rounding out this volume are the conclusion of John Buscema's 'Bront' - and extensive articles on, and the comic book adaptation of, the blockbuster Conan the Barbarian film! Cool conversation. The key takeaways I took were:
- very likely that there will be 18 SSOC omnibuses barring any unforeseen changes - there will be three omnibuses of King Conan - no rights to Red Sonja at all so they can't print those issues - they do have rights for Kull + Solomon Kane though, with possible reissues of omnibuses - more omnibuses likely coming for other CtB, including Newsletter Strips, Conan the Savage and other uncollected material - Dark Horse stuff should eventually come along too - 2025 schedule is completely planned, and mostly for 2026 + 2027 too - they want to avoid releasing too much in one month so people can afford it - it seems like Conan is in pretty good hands overall

I think Titan/Heroic Signatures can still reprint the Red Sonja material in an actual comic that both characters appear in, just not the Red Sonja comics that have Conan - pretty much the same deal as before.
The first volume of CtB omnibus still reprints issues 23 and 24 with Red Sonja.

I wasn't sure on this so I had to go back and double check. If RS is still in 23+24 then it sounds like they can go ahead with the reissues, but not going forwards in the omnibuses that only Heroic/Titan are making. I found the transcript - it's autogenerated so it's not great, but you can get the gist. If anyone wants to listen the time stamp is at about 22:58. Here's the transcript about it (starting with a question from Omar). It still doesn't totally clear it up tbh, because if 23-24 do have RS, then it goes against what they say: one very good now with the character of red Sonia that comes in and out is it 23:04 the same kind of treatment that Marvel had with her like you can use her as long as it was in a Conan comic 23:11 internally is that how that's going to work or because I know well early on 23:16 there were crossovers but they could not reprint like the red Sonia Comics because that is licens now by Dynamite 23:24 but they could reprint the Conan Comics that featured her it is that something that will continue or how how how will 23:31 that work D you want take that one D oh okay 23:40 the sadly the answer is no we can't do we don't have any rights to red Sonia so if there's a red Sonia appearance or a 23:46 red Sonia um story more than likely we will have to pull that out which is one23:52 of the things that where we hit a little frustration like I was saying when you're sort of mapping sort of like big 23:58 picture mapping things and saying do 18 volumes and then there's a you know there's a 30 page red Sonia story stuck 24:03 in the middle of it somewhere that you have to then sadly pull out um what are you g to replace that with or are you 24:09 gon to replace it at all um so no uh unfortunately uh we cannot okay 24:16 we we try editorially I think David um uh set set the bar in terms of hey this 24:24 is an archive um treatment we should try to re 24:29 we should try to present it as best we can in C2 right like as it was originally presented I think that's the 24:36 thing I am most interested in as a comic book collector and reader and and fan of s short of Conan and so everywhere we 24:44 can do that we do uh and sometimes we try to get away with things but we have very lawyers who look at every page so 24:51 um we don't get away with much that's very true we don't we've 24:59 tried so what about um some of the other properties that were collected by Marvel 25:05 like uh solman cane or uh Cole is that something that you 25:11 all will continue like to reprint I believe there were three Coles and one 25:16 Solomon cane Omnibus from Marvel I didn't know if that was something that you all could do or not yep we do have 25:22 those rights and we will be that is definitely part of our longterm Mission 25:28 uh to get that stuff out there into the world in a variety of different ways including uh new omnii um so absolutely 25:36 we we do have the ability to collect those and we will be oh that's great that's great because I know some people 25:41 missed out on those um and one of the biggest questions that I've gotten I don't know if you all have seen this or 25:47 not um Marvel started you know putting out the omnis which I love I love omnes

Red Sonja is on both of the Direct Market covers of CtB 1 & 2, so I guess that'll be fine...and don't forget in the 1st volume of SSoC.
It could be all the stuff Titan will be reprinting beyond the Marvel omnis?

This whole thing doesn't make sense. Dark Horse and Marvel could publish those Savage Sword stories with Conan and Sonja without a problem. Moreover, The Adventures of Red Sonja Omnibus from Dynamite includes Marvel Feature Red Sonja #1 and Marvel Feature Red Sonja #6 both with Conan appearances. Dynamite can publish stories of Sonja with Conan but Heroic Signatures can´t publish stories of Conan with Sonja? How can it be? It's sounds strange to me.
