This got released digitally if you don't want to wait. Definitely not as strong as the first four issues, but it sets the stage for some fun times ahead. My LCS will save me a copy, I'll just have to wait an extra week. Kinda funny considering Titan are based in the UK, so far all the issues have been a week late.

So is this out today or not? Probably not going to head to the store today, but if I get a chance on Friday, I could swing over and check.

In the USA, it was delayed to next week. My LCS did not have it in the weekly list.

Hmmmm…I actually found a full digital copy “out there”. Strange.

I was able to stumble upon a copy "out there" as well.
Thank the gods the furkini is no more! At least in this arc, anyway.
I thought this was a pretty good issue. Conan is mourning for Belit, but he's not a complete mess.
I like the three people in his party, too. This feels like it could be pastiche from the good old day of Dark Horse, so I'm happy with this.
Anyone who jumped ship with the Marvel revamp should really check out what Titan is doing.

Read this issue online, took a little while getting accustomed to Braithwaite's take on Conan & the Hyborian age setting, still I think his style suits this yarn, so far.
Nice to know that Braithwaite is a Buscema fan from the interview at the back of the issue and I'm happy to see the continuation of the Robert E. Howard & His Ages Undreamed Of essay by Jeffrey Shanks.
Keep em coming Jeff.

I've only encountered his work on some Ed Brubaker espionage-themed Captain America books in the past, but, like any good artist, he seems to have a knack for drawing in different settings. Good point about the interview. He said his Conan is inspired by Frazetta and Buscema, which is a damn good thing. Today's Thanksgiving in the US, and I'm thankful for a Conan comic I can be excited about again.

I like Braithwaite art a lot. His style fits Conan and his storytelling is very dynamic. Conan facial expressions are varied and the city's atmosphere is gloomy and mysterious. This first part of arch II I found it to be more entertaining than # 1 of the first arch.

Another great issue. Notice where it mentions that Bel was originally a Shemite god, but that the Zamorians recognised the potency in his purpose and thus the six armed elephant and his flock were imported into the Zhemri borne pantheon. They got it right in that there is a distinction between the Zamorians and the Shemites.
