Really confused about this book. Is it an artbook? 160 pages in total and still "colossal"?

Yes it's an art book - "original art reproduced at their original size" hence the "colossal". It's big in dimensions, not page count.

IDW publishes a lot of books like this through their "Artists Edition" line. This will be something similar.

As for how you get it - Zoop is a crowdfunding platform kind of like Kickstarter. Works the same way.

Yeah, it is probably gonna be like those artist editions, I think. They shoulda picked an early issue of SSOC, something like the adaptations by Buscema and Alcala instead of art all over the place, something similar to the BWS Red Nails volume:

You already have 190+ pages of Conan comic art scanned from the originals and reprinted in an oversized hardcover?

Was really hoping this would languish in the usual stunted-development Book Hell Conan has been frequently experiencing.

I really wanted this, but they could not have picked a worse time: Black Friday sales going on now, holiday shopping in general and money is tight right now on top of all of that. And I am not going to pay $300 for it on eBay. Zoop indicated it could be at retailers, but no local shops are going to carry this where I am at!

On top of all that, it is already nearly funded! And with no Rewards, Tier Unlocks or special add-ons or anything!

Also, an article on CBR indicates: "The collection titled Conan the Barbarian: Colossal Edition is just one of several Conan-related projects the company [publisher: Pan-Universal Galactic Worldwide, or PUG Worldwide] has in the works."

So, more is on the horizon.
