For those interested, Pocket Universe is putting together a full cast audio drama adapting A Princess of Mars, with the permission of Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. The above Kickstarter link is still active for another week, but they met their funding goal in under 100 minutes. They are now getting close to $55,000.00. So far here is the announced cast: John Carter - Sean Patrick Flannery (Boondock Saints, Young Indiana Jones) Tars Tarkas - Tim Russ (Tu'Vok of Star Trek: Voyager) Kantos Kan - Bruce Boxleitner (Babylon 5, Bring Them Back Alive) Some really nice stretch goals were added to the campaign, may have already been met. Check it out if you are interested. I pledged at the digital level, but might up it to the physical level. Thanks for letting us know Jason. Looks fantastic and they have a great cast. I wouldn't say no to one o' them Woolas.

That is a great cast and I really hope they make an adaptation worthy of it. Kinda wish they had committed to doing the entire trilogy, though.

Since I posted last they added Dr. Who's Tom Baker as the old man in the atmospheric plant. As well as Wase Chief (was very good in Costner's Horizon: Chapter 1) as Dejah Thoris.
Almuric, I'm hoping this performs well enough where they can commit to the next two.

Aye, would be best if they made it a trilogy, allowing for JC's full rise to Warlord. Maybe they should have made books two and three stretch goals?

Use this thread for all John Carter/Barsoom in other media so we can keep the prose material in its own thread.
