I could go with him as King on the throne reminiscing about his life for a couple of minutes at the start of each episode of the proposed Netflix show then cut straight to the episode.

The problem with that is that it would be making the show a de-facto sequel to the Schwarzenegger movies, and it would force the new actor into adopting Arnold's accent. Arnold has the chance to make his King Conan movie years ago when everyone wanted it. Now its too late. He has no one to blame but himself. How old was Conan in Hour of the Dragon? Late 40s? Arnold is in great shape for his age, but he is too old now. I don't want to see Conan the Geriatric. |

I certainly agree I wouldn't want it looked upon as a sequel to CtB'82 but made up and just sat on the throne would work ok for me. Yes in HotD he is in his 40's but nothing to say he's looking back when he's older than that. Really don't think the accent would be a problem tbh. If they then went into Howard adaptations I doubt many of us would really mind a cameo. |

That said, I would not mind seeing him in a King Conan CtB sequel. Especially if the Netflix show rights all of the wrongs CtB '82 did for the character.
