Yes, I saw this just today and thought that since Marvel has the rights to Conan again, and since he was part of their original What if...? series, an episode with him would be nice.

And after all this...Disney+ announces a price hike. :-). Of course with 10 Marvel projects, 15 Star Wars (or is it vice versa), if this is what you wanted, here you go, all you want.

That's pretty ballsy of them. They've only been out for a year and currently are little more than a back catalogue of very old stuff and they're asking for more money?
I can understand producing the shows and then increasing the cost since they can justify the increase by providing customers with content, but asking people to pay more with the hopes that the shows might be good in the future sounds terrible. They're asking customers to pay in advance for an unknown product, some of which won't be out for 2 years.

Although it's unlikely as Marvel only have comics rights I think this would make a good one. "What If.... Robert E.Howard's Conan was actually adapted on screen" The lad has had Disney + as part of some package which runs out Jan., with this news though I've told , sorry asked , my wife if we can keep it

The increase won't be until 2022 (of course right around the time the 3 year deal some of us bought into runs out). They will have to maintain quality (insert your own preferences of the MU/Star Wars films here). The one other thing that struck me is the not recasting of Chadwick Boseman for BP2. I get it, his passing was so tragic and he truly seemed like one of the good guys we need more of. And it sure would be uncomfortable for that next guy, though I'm sure there are people capable of the task (JD Washington is the first one that comes to mind). I guess it could become a Shuri-centric film which is likely where it will go.

Well, for those who may have missed it, the merging of the Fox MCU with MCU proper has begun and WandaVision is the vehicle. Having Quicksilver show up isn't necessarily a surprise, who was playing him was. And as of today, the FF universe has been cracked (I know, the Kree, Skrull and Inhumans all began in FF, how they worked out those deals is still a mystery to me). Who knows who else will show up in the next two weeks? They're teasing a big one, we'll see if it actually achieves that.
The series itself has been good, but it's one of those that took until the third episode to take hold (Spartacus and Game of Thrones were the same way for me). It's been an interesting mix of sitcom and Twin Peaks: The Return. And with the Muppet Show popping up today, Disney+ is finally paying for itself! :-)

Yesterday's show, with it's surprise twist, was probably my favorite so far. Spoiler perhaps (for those who haven't seen the show): Evan Peters is a great actor, and I'm glad he was chosen to continue as Quicksilver. He's really a far more entertaining take on the character, imo. This show is certainly full of big surprises.

If the quality continues to be on par with the Mandalorian and WandaVision, I'd be perfectly satisfied to pay a little more for more projects. I thought WandaVision was going to be a dud, but I've really been enjoying it. The Loki and Bucky & Falcon show look cool, too. I could definitely use more Star Wars, though. Especially if the rumored retcon of the new trilogy goes through. As for replacing Boseman, I would redeem Killmonger and have Michael B. Jordan come back. I get the appeal of Shuri, but I'm not sure a female black panther would draw money. Yeah I've really enjoyed staying away from rumors and gossip sites and just letting this play out.

I have heard some disturbing rumours about a Captain Marvel 2 with Brie Larson. A flake off screen She just never seemed to get a handle on playing a strong female lead. That's the thing, actors like Gal Gadot and Gina Carano could play strong women, but flaky Brie just seemed to come out somehow awkward or cold bitch, and those normally ending up losing like this.

So what was the actual rumor? Is Brie pushing to have Captain Marvel identify as a homeless, crippled, trans-lesbian black male who is transitioning to a non-binary asian antelope with purple eyebrows with a fetish for taking baths in pepto bismol?
I'll just sit back and watch as Brie and her flat ass continue to chew her own arm off in her woke insanity while not giving a dime to her or Disney.
Good times.

Maybe this is why they're overloading the CM2 with as many Captain/Ms. Marvels (Monica Rambeau, Kamala Khan) as they can fit. If they need to switch off...
Two weeks until as Many Captain America replacements (Falcon, Winter Solider, USA Agent) as we can cram into one show. Two months until we see if Disney flinches with Black Widow. I now live within 5 minutes of a movie theater and just got a 65 inch TV with sound bar, so I'm good to go in either case.

Why didn't they make the Winter Soldier the next Captain America? It would have made more sense in multiple ways. Falcon is going to fly around holding a wind-blocking shield?
