It's more like a week deadline. That's......a difference.

It's more like a week deadline. That's......a difference. I'm not sure what you mean here. The deadline to have the whole issue done is typically like a month. I'm wondering why they keep falling behind.

The deadline is still shorter than last time. This time it's been moved back 2 weeks. It's a delay but not a significant one. Maybe Cullen's other projects have been difficult
In other news when I was in london issue #5 was nearly sold out at Forbidden Planet (there were very few left on the rack.)

That's part of the drawback to doing these 25 issues series/miniseries, there's no room for error unless you plan your fill-ins in advance like they did in Cimmerian. If something happens to either writer or artist, you get shifting release dates. Now I made it through Kevin Smith/Joe Quesada Daredevil and Planetary, so a moth or six weeks shift isn't that big a deal for me.

What happened in cimmerian? I know we had a few fill ins (Sorrow of Akivasha and Home for the Hunt) but why though? Certainly not as much filler as the first series

They planned things in advance: the Richard Corben parts of #1-7 were set going in, Joe Kubert pitched in on #14, then the Truman-Lee story in #15 and Tim did half the art on #16-18, all to help out Tomas. I wonder if this is what may have led to the QotBC decision to have so many artists. If so, that was too far in the other direction. They generally had the mix right in the first 75 issues.

I like when stories are illustrated by one artist only. It adds to the cohesion a lot. Various artists is usually a let down. There is just no continuation to the story.
